TDITM Extra Credit Assignment: True Love Heart

EXTRA CREDIT! Sorry, I meant to get this out there in mid-January #butoverwhelmedwithmuchthings. Since you have now completed your January challenge, now is a great time to knock out the True Love Heart from pattern no. 12. It’s the same skill set as the pear in pattern one! (Save the more advanced leaping lord until Dec.) If you choose to do this extra credit, squeeze it in before you sew your February Turtle Dove challenge.

If you sew the heart now, not only will you thank yourself for not having to sew two ornaments in December, but the heart also pulls double duty as a lovely Valentine ornament! Make one and present it to your Valentine with a flourish. With the understanding your Valentine will give it back in time for Christmas. LOL. Or maybe make them one they can keep?

SHOWN: All three hearts you see above were made by me with lovely Benzie Design felts. Blue and pink hearts are from the original Twelve Days color bundle No. 6. The mint/olive one was actually a reject from Abigail’s set. I redid it with a different color scheme.
