TDITM 26: March challenge whipped!

NOTE: This post shows the older version before my color freak out in which I remade all the TDITM 26 ornaments using White Instead of Ecru. My color guides show the corrected ones. 🙂

Oui, my French Hen ees feenished! There were several color freakouts and some compulsive chocolate eating, ain’t gonna lie. Had to redo some parts and unglue some stuff. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out! I tried my best to wedge yellow into the color scheme somehow, but the yellow felts just looked wrong. What finally looked right was to add the brass sequin on the flower and a touch of citron embroidery on the tail. Still fightin’ with the color palette. Spoiler alert: I’m going to win.

DETAILED COLOR GUIDE

Like on Abigail’s hen, I added sequins behind the eye, on the flower (in place of the Flower Center), on the wing, and on the tail. I love the added sparkle. And the glint of the silver on the neck.
