TDITM 26: Maid a-Milking squeaks under the deadline

It was nose-to-the-grindstone for me all through August to get my latest pattern finished and heave it off my desk, so I didn’t touch Lydia’s maid until this weekend. No sweat, I had plenty of time. Haha! I finished it Sunday night and shot the photos today. So. New pattern released and TDITM deadline met.
*raises hand, high fives self*

No color freakouts this round. (It’s a miracle!) I just used the same general colors as on the Colly Bird to bring another touch of Capri into the mix.

COLOR GUIDES

We are headed into the final quarter, y’all. Only four more patterns ’til our set is complete! September is here and our challenge is the Drummer. Yes, the drummer! He’s number nine, not twelve, in the original carol. For his colors I’ll be pivoting back into the aqua/green end of my TDITM palette. Check here for more info about the challenge.

JOIN THE CHALLENGE! It’s not too late! The goal is to sew one Twelve Days pattern per month in 2026. You can comfortably sew a few per month, so believe it or not, you can still catch up! Even if you only make a few, you’ll still be closer to a set.

Is this type of crafting new to you? Get started here.
