Snug In Their Beds 3.0
Progress! I’m pretty sure this is the solution I like for the dancing sugarplum/candies over the bed. I’ve tried about eleventy other variations and this is the one that is less likely to make you hate me as you make this upcoming Snug In Their Beds pattern. As a bonus, it’s also the one I think looks the best!
NOTE: That’s 20 gauge white floral wire for the hanger and an iridescent chenille stem for the candy dream. (The same chenille stems used with All Through The House for the trees.)
I still need to figure out the best and simplest way to secure the quilt so it opens on one side, so little hands can tuck the dreamer in. Right now it’s just a straight pin. I’m also thinking I need to provide an option for a solid head and footboard. The slats look nice, but they do take some patience.

Wow……just wow!
Your creations never cease to amaze me and I always look forward to each pattern release.
I make and sell the finished products in my Etsy shop and my buyers always comment on how amazing they are….but most of the credit goes to you for designing them in the first place.
Just an idea but how about a couple of Velcro dots to secure the open side of the blanket?
Thanks so much! Very glad you like it, and that you have success selling the ornaments. Congrats! 🙂 Velcro holds a bit too well! haha!
Coming along so well!! A thought might be for a small bit of velcro or a snap to secure the blanket…..Blessings!
Thank you! Velcro seems like it would be just the thing, but it actually holds too strongly. Even a small piece! It’s really good at what it does. There’s a low tack version but I think it might be hard to find for folks.
Love it, Larissa. Another score! I have made your Twelve Days of Christmas and have yet to complete Santa & Mrs. Clause and two Elves. Also, made the Teacup Mouse twice.
Both turned out absolutely adorable. This new one here is too cute. Looking forward to making it as well.
Yay! Wow, you’ve been busy! Thanks so much!
What about a twist pin for the blanket? It could be placed where one of the sequins is supposed to go……
Absolutely adore your work!
Thanks so much! That’s an intriguing idea!
I was thinking the teeny tiny velcro dots…I think they are 1/4″ in diameter? they have a very light connection and not so strong… I use them on paper treat boxes and they work really well…
