By The Chimney: tiny books are fun
This is just one stocking stuffer option included in my upcoming By The Chimney ornament pattern: a tiny bound volume of the Clement C. Moore poem which inspired this ornament series. I had a good bit of finicky fun designing this book, and despite its small size (1.75 inches tall) it’s not hard to make, I promise.
It just takes one letter-sized sheet of a nice text weight paper (printed with my template) and a scrap of card stock for the cover. I will of course include step-by-step instructions to make it within the pattern, so no need to worry!
I love to give pretty books at Christmas. My sweet friend Robyn once shared this wise gifting guideline that she used for her kids, which I remember only because it rhymes: “Something to wear, something to read, something you want, something you need.” And yes, you can actually read this book, although if you are like me you’ll need your granny glasses.
I am so excited for this one. I make your little ornaments every year as Christmas gifts. I am can wait for the stocking
Thanks so much, Ginger! I’m so glad you enjoy the patterns!
Not to be pushy, but any estimate of when the pattern might be out?
Hi Debbie, I do not have a great estimate right now for you as I’m caring for my elderly mother a good bit. A few weeks at least. Thanks so much for your enthusiasm! 🙂
