TDITM 26: Swan a-Swimming completed!

I realized a week or so ago that the end of my July is jam-packed with stuff: our church’s VBS (I’m teaching 3-4th graders), family trip, Sunday school (I’m teaching the K-2s on Sundays and Weds, and let me tell you they are adorable) and also I’m trying to finish Snug In Their Beds as soon as possible. So last week I seized some time to work on Lydia’s TDITM swan because I did not want to be sewing and crying at 3 am on the 31st.

It’s been finished for a few days but I just got around to photographing it:

I definitely had a color freak out and I’m still dithering about redoing the wing in different colors, but I’ll wait and see if I can get over it. I used metallic silver felt on the flower, and added sequins behind the eye, on the wing and on the tail.
