Y'all, I'm so pleased with this! I made tiny, two- Y'all, I'm so pleased with this! I made tiny, two-tone cording for use with my upcoming Cap & Gown pattern. And it's dead easy. Seriously. After it's made it stays magically twisted together, no problem. I watched a handy YouTube video for the basic method (thank you so much for sharing the video link with me, Cheryl Gunn and Debbie Thompson!). To watch the YouTube video, check my Facebook page or just search YouTube 'Bucilla Create Cording'. It's the one by Debbie Bailey. Thank you, Debbie! So handy.
To create mine I used the same method as the video, only with two colors of DMC floss knotted together, 3 strands each. Don't worry, I'll have detailed instructions in the pattern for you!
My goal is to release this pattern before the end of the year. Anything sooner than that will be a bonus. I will send out updates! Doing my best!

’Tis the season to stitch your own sparkly wool ’Tis the season to stitch your own sparkly wool felt tree topper! In whatever color you like! The best part about my LodeStar tree topper pattern is NO blinkety blankety ever lovin’ CONE. The lollipop stick works so much better! Just a couple of twist ties and you’re done. No more wobbly/crooked stars! Plus, the topper pattern includes instructions for a pendant and ornaments.

SKILL LEVEL: If you can cut stuff, glue stuff, sew a backstitch and whipstitch, plus sew beads/sequins, you are ready. Just add patience! It’s a lot of stitches!

Cap & Gown WIP! This is my first sample elementary Cap & Gown WIP! This is my first sample elementary school grad. Awwww. I’m about to add her cap and diploma. I love her curly pigtails, and they are easy to add using glue and small spirals of chenille stem. A very cute hair option. I’m making good progress on this upcoming sewing pattern! I’ll keep you updated.
