FOTF Color Guide: Colly Bird

BELOW is the color guide for my Sapphire Colly Bird using Felt On The Fly’s beautiful felts.

*You may well be thinking, ‘isn’t that supposed to be Calling Bird?’ And you are right! It is calling bird in the modern version. But this series is based on the original carol from 1780. Colly bird is an Old English term for blackbird! But you can make yours in whatever colors you like. Maybe sew him a little iPhone.

Beak: Deep Pink
Body, Wing Inset: Turquoise
Wing Overlay 1: Brick
Wing Overlay 2: Lavender Pink
