TDITM ’25 Color Guide: Goose a-Laying

This is the palette I used for my eldest daughter’s Twelve Days set during my 2025 Twelve Months in Twelve Days challenge. Below are the detailed felt/floss color guides for you.

GOOSE COLOR GUIDE:

GOOSE FELT COLORS:
Nori: Body Front (except for the head)
Teal: Tail Feathers, Body Front Head (I cut it at the neck band and spliced it together)
Citron: Wing front and back
Sherwood: Wing Inset
Orange: Wing Flower
Coral: Straw A
Copper: Beak, Straw B
Gold Metallic: Neck band, Nest
Julep: Body back (see below for picture of backs)

GOOSE EMBROIDERY COLORS:
Note: These are just the decorative colors. You’ll also need matching floss to sew the felt pieces together.

OTHER NOTIONS:
I added one 5 mm translucent iridescent sequin behind the eye and one 8 mm copper sequin/copper seed bead on the flower. I also snipped small notches in the flower.
