TDITM: Swan a-Swimming is done!

With a whole day of July to spare. At least it was not down to the last hour this time! Progress. I’m determined to go ahead and bank up a couple more TDITM ornaments now so I won’t have a distraction when I begin to develop my upcoming Cap & Gown pattern. Ideally, I’d have the TDITM set completed as I head into my crazy busy fall season. I’m trying to convince myself. *holds up mirror* Larissa, pay attention.

I already knew what felt colors from my palette I was going to use for the swan ahead of time, so it came together with no big color freakout, which was nice. I dithered a good bit about the embroidery colors though and ended up picking out some stitches. I used metallic gold felt on the flower and neckband, added a sequin behind the eye and on the wing, and stitched some extra embroidery on the water.
