Twelve Days in Twelve Months!

SHOWN: My Twelve Days ornaments made with delicious jewel toned 100% merino felts from Felt On The Fly.

For 2026, may I suggest stitching your way through the year by making one Twelve Days ornament pattern per month? The patterns start out easy and get more complex as you go through the series, so you’ll build your skills. By the time you embroider and craft your way from January to December, you’ll have a beautiful heirloom set of fifteen wool felt ornaments to decorate your Christmas tree and enjoy for years to come. (BONUS: After finishing, you’ll be ready to jump into my intermediate ornament series: ’Twas The Night and Ebenezer!)

Q: IS IT TOO LATE FOR 2025?
A: It is 100% not too late! Consider sewing a few ornaments this year, then adding more next year. Sewing multiple ornaments per month is very doable! Each hand sewn ornament takes two or three crafternoons to complete.

THE MAGIC OF SERIAL GIFTING:
If you are making them as gifts for Christmas 2025, do a serial gift! Give a single ornament or a set of two or three, and then add to their set each year ’til it’s complete. Much less stressful than gifting an entire set at once, and as a bonus, you’ll know what you are gifting them for the next few Christmases!
