SAL Guidelines

Hello! Are you planning an online sew-along featuring my patterns? (A sew-along is a fun way for online mmmakers to sew the same patterns and offer discussion and support to each other via posts and photos.) Fabulous! This is the right page for you. If you choose to proceed, you agree to the following terms:

  1. Please message me at mmmcrafts.etsy.com and provide:
    Your name
    Business name
    Business address
    Phone
    Website or Facebook group page
    Dates for the SAL
  2. Every sewer who joins your SAL must purchase their own digital copy of the patterns they are working with. Please provide all members with this link to purchase their own copy of the pattern(s) if they do not already own it:
    mmmcrafts.etsy.com
  3. If you are charging a membership fee for your SAL, please make it very clear that the membership fee does not include the pattern.
  4. If you plan to sell patternless materials kits for the SAL members to purchase, please review these kit guidelines.
  5. In whatever forum you use, please keep in mind my copyright and do not publish pictures of the patterns themselves, upload copies of the PDFs, or post videos which may compromise my copyright. Sharing pictures of what you make is great! Thanks!
  6. I’m always happy to answer my lovely customer’s pattern questions via mmmcrafts.etsy.com, but (unless I specifically arrange to) I cannot directly participate, moderate, monitor, or offer support to your SAL.
  7. Unless you are given specific permission by me otherwise, you may use only the MAIN pattern images you can find at mmmcrafts.etsy.com to promote your SAL, which always include the title of the pattern and my name. Here are a couple examples:
  8. My name for your promotional text is: Designer Larissa Holland of MmmCrafts. Please use the full exact name of the pattern as it appears on the main pattern photo in your text, for instance “Colly Bird” as opposed to “calling bird” and “Twelve Days Ornament Series” as opposed to “Twelve Days of Christmas Patterns”.
  9. My patterns are copyrighted and registered with the US government. Please refrain from posts that include images of my actual pattern pages.
  10. I’d love to see what your SAL members are making! Share photos via IG and tag me with @mmmcrafts and the hashtag that goes with the pattern or series.

Sound good? Great! Please get started by contacting me at mmmcrafts.etsy.com. Your SAL members will need to have an Etsy account to purchase their patterns. It’s easy, secure, and free to set one up, and I accept all major CC and PayPal. Happy sewing! 🙂
